A couple of practice opportunities may exist-- to be employed by the rural health clinic or to establish a private practice with significant financial assistance by the Medical Center.  An attractive, well-equipped 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with Primary Care Clinic that opened its' doors 12 years ago and offers a variety of services including cardiopulmonary/respiratory, rehabilitation, modern laboratory, diagnostic services, surgical services and modern OB facilities.  The city has five FPs who do OB; call of 1:6 may be possible with these physicians.
The mild climate allows locals to enjoy the outdoors year-round.
