100% Clinical Research - Experience a plus but not required (client will train) Excellent Schedule and quality of life! Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm, no nights. Some Saturdays (rare) 8am - 12pm. Seeking candidates Board Certified (Primary Care or sub-specialty training good too, but not required) Further information: Job Title: Principal Investigator, Early Phase Department: Early Phase Clinical Operations Essential Functions " Performs all job responsibilities in accordance with standards of Good Clinical Practice. " Delegates study responsibilities as appropriate to trained study staff. " Has a working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines, Clinic SOPs and QA/QC procedures and Investigator 1572 Form. " Reviews all protocols prior to acceptance at the site for feasibility. " Reviews Investigator's Brochure prior to performing any study procedures. " Ensures informed consent has been obtained prior to performing any study procedures. " Participates in Sponsor dose escalation meetings and other safety discussions with the Medical Monitor. " Performs all study responsibilities in compliance with the IRB approved protocol. " Interprets ECGs within agreed sponsor timelines. " Reviews and evaluates all study data and comments to the clinical significance of any out of range results. " Performs physical examinations as part of screening evaluation and active study conduct. Documents findings in Alphadas or using paper source documents. " Reviews screening documentation and approves subjects for admission to study. " Reviews admission documentation and approves subject for randomization. " Provides ongoing assessment of the study subject/patient to identify Adverse Events. Ensures proper documentation and reporting of all Adverse Events and Serious Adverse Events. " Assigns causality of adverse events. " Provides medical management of adverse events as appropriate. " Completes all study documentation in accordance with the study specification requirements. Relationships Works Closely With " Associate Directors " Pharmacist & Dietician " Research Staff " Sr. Vice President, Clinical Operations " Sub Investigators Education " Medical Degree and completion of Residency Training, with current Medical Licensure in State of Washington (or ability to get a Washington state license) " Combination of board eligibility, medical education, training and experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job in lieu of Board certification may be considered with approval from Senior Management " Current ACLS Certification
