Hospitalist- Great opportunity for a strong Internal Medicine BE or BC Hospitalist to join an existing program in a progressive community hospital located in the beautiful NC foothills. This group currently has 6 physicians and one midlevel who admit the majority of the hospital's medical admissions. Good support from specialists including neurology, gastroenterology, cardiology, and oncology. Hospital is a non-profit, independent hospital that is run by a local board of trustees. We have 81 acute care beds that are located in all new patient care units that opened in January of 2010. We have a 9 bed ICU and a 23 bed Emergency Department that are also brand new. Hospital operates a 120 bed long term care facility that is located on our campus. The hospital’s medical staff, nursing staff, support staff, and administration take pride in our facility, in our quality measures, and in our patient satisfaction scores.
