$265K Base + $80K Incentive Potential!! Staff Hospitalist Opportunity: Must be B/E or B/C Internal Medicine or B/C Family Practice; if B/E must be on track for certification; will consider new grad IM Work 7 days on - 7 days off Beeper on-call at night Prefer Hospitalist to live locally 1099 Contractor; $265K base compensation + $80K incentive potential Hospital: 49 bed hospital 4 bed ICU There are 4 Hospitalists working 7on/7off; 2 Hospitalists on duty each day 5-6 new patients/day; 6- 9 encounters/day per Hospitalist Hospitalist must be able to interpret EGKs and should be willing to learn to administer stress tests Hospitalist should be comfortable with basic vent management and urgent central line placement Specialty support: Orthopedics and Orthopedic Surgery Ophthalmology Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Otolaryngology / Facial Plastic Surgery Podiatry General Surgery and Peripheral Vascular Surgery Cardiology Gastroenterology 24 hour CT scanning; MRI on-site business hours M-F. (No formal interventional radiology, radiologist will put in PICCs and do biopsies.)
