Compensation:
$345,000 total compensation package:
$270,000 base compensation
$30,000 guaranteed incentive
$300,000 guaranteed annual compensation
$ 30,000 additional incentive compensation potential
$ 15,000 professional liability insurance and tail coverage provided
$345,000 total compensation package ($15,000 estimated value of insurance)
1099 contractor
Recruitment Needs (2):
Medical Director
Must be B/C Internal Medicine or Family Practice
Needs 1-2 year minimum successful Hospitalist experience
Excellent clinical skills; communication skills; leadership skills
One Staff Hospitalist
Must be B/E or B/C Internal Medicine or B/C Family Practice; if B/E must be on track for certification; will consider new grad IM
Staffing Model:
Work 7 days on - 7 days off
Beeper on-call at night
58 licensed acute care beds
44 beds currently utilized
6 bed ICU (5 currently utilized)
10 swing beds
1 Hospitalist on duty each day
Anticipate 2-3 admissions/day; estimate 13-16 encounters/day
Hospitalist acts as Medical Director for 10 swing bed/skilled nursing hospitalized patients
Hospitalist to read EGKs for unassigned patients (50/month)
Hospitalist is responsible for physician oversight of Cardiac Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Respiratory Therapy
Hospitalist should be comfortable with basic vent management and urgent central line placement
Specialty support: Surgery; Anesthesia
Specialties available in weekly clinics are: cardiology allergy, vascular, oncology, orthopedic, OB/Gyn, Urology
