" This would be an employed position within the Health System, providing full time coverage in the office outpatient setting.  We are looking for an Internal Medicine physician to serve the needs of our patients in a growing community.   Office space, support staff, billing service, and practice management are all provided by the Health System.
" We have a Misys EMR for our practices, with a patient centric chart.  If a patient were to seek care at one of our walk-in sites and they have a primary care physician in our system, their full electronic chart would be immediately accessible.
Pay/Benefits
" Salary for the initial 2 year contract period would be based upon MGMA data.  After the initial contract period (2 years), we would look at creating a productivity based arrangement.
" We provide a comprehensive benefits package and have a matching contribution for our 403(b) retirement plan.  Physicians also have access to a self-funded 457(b) tax deferred savings plan.
" We provide $2,500 annually for CME expenses.
" Each physician is allowed four weeks of time off for vacation, sick, CME, etc., in addition to major holidays (New Year's Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day).
" The hospital pays 100% malpractice insurance, and provides up to $1,000 annually in reimbursement for medical license fees, board certification fees, etc…
" Regarding accumulated debt associated with medical education, the state of Maryland has a "Loan Forgiveness" program that we apply to for our employed physicians, and we have been 100% successful in this program to date (3 physicians approved last year).
