This opportunity is for an experienced Gastroenterologist for a primary care clinic with hospitalist partnership. This 15 year old multispecialty group is comprised of six primary care physicians. The patient case load is expected to be 15-20 patients per day. Each primary care physicians treats on average 16 patients per day, with an average census of 3 hospitalized (primary medical) patients per day. Practice has full EMR and payer mix is as follows: 39% managed care, 40% Medicare, 14% Medicaid, 2% Commercial Insurance and 2% self pay. Qualifications Preferred: Experience in a hospital and outpatient setting. Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of training) Texas licensed or in process. Compensation: This will be a salary position with production bonus potential. Salary will be based on experience and will be in accordance to the national averages based on M.G.M.A. compensation data - Medical Malpractice will be covered, full health insurance can be purchased, vacation paid time off (15 days, plus major holidays), CME expenses, sign on bonus and relocation
