Hospital Employment Opportunity:
Director of Pulmonary - Base salary of $400,000 +
(must be boarded in pulm and CC with experience)
- additional compensation commensurate with experience
- Directorship contract with additional pay
CME/Books & Journals: 10 days and up to $7000
Opportunity: Inpatient opportunity to work 7 days on and then 7 days off. 3rd on night call after NP and Hospitalists
HOSPITAL EQUIPMENT: State of the art 16 bed ICU, bronch lab, newly built interventional lab, established bronch ultrasound.
Olympus scopes and video equipment, everything is monitored, and an Olympus Documentation Station (able to do operative notes in 2 minutes with pull-down screens). In the process of changing to Provation Medical (electronic medical record, sends orders to office, post op notes dictated and printed, consults to other physicians - helps with coding and billing). Hardware received – implementation being scheduled.. Will interface with the Olympus system.
3 year contract also includes:
Deferred compensation: 457b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $16,500 year before taxes. No matching.
Retirement / Savings Plan: 403b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $16,500 year before taxes under age 50 and $22,000 for over age 50. Med Ctr. matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay (max of $4,900 and $10,400 respectively)
Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving company
Malpractice Insurance Coverage: in a claims made insurance, in an amount of $1,000,000, per claim/$3,000,000, aggregate
Health Insurance: physician pays small premium, deducted from paycheck
Non-compete: 70 mile and 2 year non-compete clause with liquidated damages clause
Additional contracts / options:
Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment)
