Geriatric Physician Needed Near Philadelphia & NYC
 Currently 2 positions open in geriatrics. The first is for a staff geriatrician to provide inpatient consults and outpatient geriatric assessment services. In addition, they will provide services at various nursing homes and assisted living centers in our area.
The second is for a LEAD GERIATRICIAN:
One continuous group, with a focus on standards of care, with medical leadership providing a different (higher) level of care than just the bedside visit. NP assists the physician, want to minimize hospital readmission and transfer. . .or at least justify them. We are working in partnerships with nursing homes, not just contracts. Daily presence in the nursing home, more management and pre-emptive medicine, seeing potential issues before they become serious.
Inpatient consults at our local hospital and outpatient geriatric assessment at a TBD location. We also have a geriatric fellowship and will work closely with them.
Staff Position
 Proposed salary: $170,000 plus Benefits
 Other nursing homes in the area
 Ideal candidate:
 Fellowship trained in Geriatrics and board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice or
Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice with added qualifications in geriatrics.
Excellent communication skills and willingness to be a team player are essential
Needs current knowledge of geriatrics in a nursing home

Lead Geriatric Position
 Proposed salary: $200,000 plus Benefits
 We are seeking a lead physician to oversee and organize the following opportunities:
 · Provide part-time leadership and clinical services in our health system
 · Organize physicians who currently provide care at several nursing homes to move toward evidence-based practice models for quality and consistency
 · Provide inpatient consultation services and outpatient geriatric assessments at our hospital
 · Provide education and training for Hospitalists, Nursing and Allied health professionals in reference to special needs of the geriatric population
