Practice in a rural type setting in Indiana only 75 minutes from 2 large metro areras
The Hospitalist must be board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine.  Have 3-5 years experience as Hospitalist.  Hospitalist will work on Medical Surgical floor and Intensive Care Unit.  Hospitalist works 7am to 7pm with call from 7pm to 7am 7 days on and then 7 days off.  There is always a midlevel in house from 7pm to 7am and Hospitalist is second call.
Hospitalist must be able to perform the following procedures:
Intubation and vent management
Arterial lines
Central lines for fluid and medication access
Hospitalist will round on an average of 14-16 patients per day and admit an average of 3 patients per day.
There is always a physician in the Emergency Department 24 hours per day 7 days per week.  Radiology and Lab are always available.  We offer the following specialties:

Head and Neck Plastics
Urology
Cardiology
Pulmonology
Oncology
Hospitalist will work with the Nurse Liaison, Physcian Hospitalist, and two Hospitalist Nurse Practitioners.
