This large group, came together from a bunch of Fellowship trained docs who were in area, knew each other. Not one main doc over the whole practice...run like a private practice
They cover it all... hand back neck, sports, four offices....
Call is paid call, independent service line. comes directly to the docs... is about $500 per night, 2 nights month per hospital, 4 hospitals and on call at 3 hospitals at same time so earn $1500 per night that you are on call. The docs on call go into the hospital maybe 2-3 times per year.
