Overview Health Center is looking for a Board Certified/Eligible Gastroenterologist to join an existing group of two physicians. This practice is a very well established practice. The call coverage is 1 and 4 with weekend coverage every 4th weekend. The physician will be responsible for taking call on his/her patients during the week. This physician must have good communication skills and the ability to handle a high volume of patients. Practice Description This is an employment opportunity with the Health Center. There are approximately 80 physicians across 20 specialties across the organization. Health Center physicians receive practice consulting and management as well as billing and coding services. This model allows the physician to focus on most of his/her time on patient care. Today, the Hospital is a full service tertiary hospital with approximately 1,200 employees providing a wide range of services including such specialties as diagnostic imaging, cancer treatment, wound care, cardiac services and surgery, pulmonary medicine, neurosurgery, obstetrics and orthopedics.
