Background: Current physician is relocating to California to be near his family. The physician has been with the network since 1996 and in the community since 1976. The practice is located in a community of approximately 4000 residents. It is located approximately 20 minutes from downtown Dayton; 20 minutes from the Hospital. Practice hours: 35 hours weekly with an additional 4 hours on the first Saturday of the month. Physician would not be expected to provide hospital coverage. The current physician does see nursing home patients at the Care and Rehabilitation Center that is located less than 5 minutes from the office. Phone Call coverage arrangement: Currently shares coverage with local Family Care practice. Patient payor mix: Medicare 48.05% Medicaid 24.9% Self-pay .5% Anthem 11.81% MMO 3.74% Commercial-other 4.3% United Healthcare 6.7% Patient volume: Annualized projections 5,500 patient visits. Revenue: Center's estimated annual gross revenues $721,159. Recruitment: Primary Care - Family Practice physician. The candidate must be Board Certified or Board Eligible. Important that the physician has an interest in the gerontology population considering almost 50% of the practice population is Medicare. There is the opportunity to grow the pediatric population and generate revenues to this practice if physician is interested in doing select procedures for which they have received the necessary training. Compensation: For a physician with practice experience, one year guaranteed income at $160,000 (providing full practice to successful candidate). Potential compensation could be $160,000-$200,000 +. Full benefits package is offered, including loan repayment.
