Seeking OB/GYN in Suburban Chicago
Single Specialty Group of 4 seeking additional members due to growth. Call 1 in 4 (week) Full range of OB and GYN services. Some group members have interest in outpatient interventional gyn procedures and utilize the hospital's laborist program exclusively. Incoming physician can practice traditional OB and GYN or choose to utilize the laborist program. No DaVinci currently, but potentially in future plans. In addition to duties as part of the group above, incoming physician would be part of a team that works with several health centers. See below. Additionally hospital is affiliating itself with Health Center, which provides community based health care services, including the provision of direct outpatient obstetrical, gynecological and pediatric services to indigent patients in the Chicago south side communities' health centers. Medical Center currently is doing about 1,700 deliveries per year. Hospital has level 2+ Neonatal nursery, 24/7 Neonatologists and OBGYN coverage on site, 24/7 Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians (2). Achieved baby friendly lactation certification, trained FPs in OB (low risk), largest mid-wifery program in the area. Health Center does not currently have any OBGYN physicians but wish to expand by recruiting one in affiliation with hospital.
